  •  Russian Egg: 4th of July 2006   
    This is fourth of my Russian style eggs for the Poser community. The set consists of an Egg temple base, a base egg, and a document mapped with a government provided texture of the Declaration of Independence. Special note on the document texture: This was gleaned from a U.S. Government internet site, and I assume that there's no copyright problems since it's well over 200 years old and from a U.S. Government site.

    Total set:

    Egg base with door that opens and closes
    Egg Temple that was loosley designed after government buildings in Washington D.C.
    Document with curling morph (prop)

    The exterior of the base egg is UV mapped to take Daz Cyclotron textures

  •  Russian Egg: August DeskSet 2006   
    This is fifth of my Russian style eggs for the Poser community. The set consists of an deskset base with opening egg, and two parented pens.

    Total set:

  •  Russian Egg: Breast Cancer Research Egg   
    This continues the Russian Egg series started by pdxjims.

    This set contains 4 figures to create beautiful and traditional eggs: The base egg, a long stem with a single leaf, a long stem with many leaves, and a “flake” plane that can be used for a snowglobe effect. A number of textures are included, as well as geometry switching options, that combined, give you hundreds of options.

    The base egg has two geometry switches. The first is on the base, with options for a wilder garden look, a simple spindle base, and a classic leafy support. The second is on the center item. The default is heart, with options for a ribbon, a square frame and picture, an oval frame and picture, a menorah, a Christmas tree, a pumpkin, a flower, an inside egg, and a null (so you can use your own figure inside the egg). The inside piece can me moved and resized without affecting the outer, base egg.

    The flakes are a conforming figure consisting of 8 planes that give a floating effect inside the egg. Use multiple copies of this figure to give a fuller snowflake effect in the egg.

    The two fronds are easypose to allow for better use in your scenes. They can be added to the base pots for a fuller effect, or elsewhere in your scenes.

    Texturing varies from a classic snowglobe to more classic 19th century Russian egg styles. Included are transmap poses for the outer egg for even more effects.

  •  Russian Egg: Father's Day   
    This continues the Russian Egg series started by pdxjims. I've lost track on how many I've done. Most of them can be found at http://www.okcrandy.com. The Breast Cancer Awareness Egg is at Daz3D.com. All of these eggs are free for download.

    This is a Father's Day/Gay Pride watch. It consists of 2 figures: a pocketwatch and conforming chain with EasyPose. The watch opens bot front and back. The front opens to a traditional watchface with moveable hands, with "Happy Father's Day" engraved on the inside case. The back opens to a picture of two fathers.

    All textures are done in Poser 7. You can play with the textures in Daz Studio to get close to the same effects in D|S.

    So guys, have fun with this egg. Drop me a line or a copy of a render using it if you get a chance.

  •  Russian Egg: Memorial Day/Mother's Day 2006   
    This is second of my Russian style eggs for the Poser community. The set consists of an Egg base, and 6 conforming figures.

    Total set:

    Egg base with top and drawer that opens and closes
    Bunting for the base
    Bunting for the center of the egg
    Flag pose
    Flowers for the center of the egg
    Flowers and vases for the base
    Center Flower with morphs

    The exterior of the base egg is UV mapped to take Daz Cyclotron textures

    More of these will come through the year. I'm going to try to do one every month.

    This set is dedicated to my mother, Joan, who passed away a couple of years ago, and to my godson, Scott, who's in training to go to Iraq as a U.S. Marine. Pray for Peace.

  •  Russian Egg: Easter 2006   
    This is my Easter surprise for the Poser community. The set consists of an Egg base, and 8 conforming figures.

    Total set:

    Egg base with doors that open and close
    Exterior door trim and door handles
    Exterior Gems
    Exterior glass front
    Exterior side handles
    Interior cherry blossom flakes that rotate and have positioning morphs. Use multiple copies to create a fuller effect.
    Interior revolving picture (2 sided)
    Interior scene (cherry tree picture)
    Interior stage with rising platform and opening curtains

    Both the interior and exterior of the base egg are UV mapped to take Daz Cyclotron textures

    Black, blue, pale blue, green, pink, silver metal, and yellow base textures; and rainbow, Winter/cherry spring, and sunset/night mapped textures.

    I hope to do more of these in the future. Thank you all for your friendship and support over the years, and everyone have a happy Easter, Passover, belated equinox, or just the beauty of the coming spring.

  •  Russian Egg: Gay Pride   
    I've decided to release the Gay Pride Russian Egg a little early. I'll be in Indiana for the next two weeks, and I know some people wanted to start Gay Pride Month a tad early.

    This egg includes a very specific ream me file concerning rights. I'm giving my usual rights so long as images don't protray or are used for anti-gay statements. People who want to do this can make their own eggs.

    Included in this set is a base egg, conforming innerseat, conforming lead/pull, and bunting. Also included are mat poses and textures for different variations, and a specific one for Leather Pride in blue, black, and silver. I've also included some P5/P6 procedural materials that look really nice on all the Russian Egg sets.

    Just after the first of June, I'll be releasing another egg for Father's Day. This one takes the form of a desk set, with the egg as a box textured like a football. Later in June I'll be releasing the 4th of July egg too. I may have to make up a holiday for August... any suggestions? September is going to be an industrial egg for Labor day. October is Halloween (that one will be fun - grin). Then 2 for November, Election Day and Thanksgiving.

    I hope everyone enjoys these eggs.

  •  Russian Egg: US Marine Corp   
    The next in my continuing series of Russian Eggs. This egg consists of a main egg figure, a smart prop banner, a Gold mat pose for the Daz Eagle 2, and a pose file to set the Daz Eagle 2 in the standard Marine Corp emplam pose.

    After loading and posing the Daz Eagle 2, set the parent for the Eagle to the egg top.

    Rights and usages:
    This is much more limited than my other eggs. I did this to honor the men who serve my nation, and no render may be published that in any way shows disrespect to the U.S. Military. It may not be used in any render supporting one position or another in any kind of political campaign. I retain the right of approval on commercial render.

    Sorry for the limited usage, but the men and women in the military have been politicized and shown disrespect in the past, and I will not tolerate my work being used for something like that. My cousin's son, my godson, is currently serving on a ship in the mideast. He's already served one tour in Iraq, and expects to be serving in Afghanistan soon. No matter what you think of the current situation, the people actually serving are making a sacrifice for their nation, and deserve our respect.

  •  Russian Egg: March 23, 2008   
    This continues the Russian Egg series started by pdxjims. I've lost track on how many I've done. Most of them can be found at http://www.okcrandy.com. The Breast Cancer Awareness Egg is at Daz3D.com. All of these eggs are free for download.

    Every few months I get a bug to do another egg. This one is a little more complexly textured than earlier ones, though a tad simpler when it comes to animation use. The main figure consists of 3 eggs: A banded outer egg, a small cap egg, and an inside nested egg. All of these open and close, and the inner egg can me moved up or rotated for effect. Also included are a Cross and Star of David smart props.

    All textures are done in Poser 7. You can play with the textures in Daz Studio to get close to the same effects in D|S.

    So guys, have fun with this egg. Drop me a line or a copy of a render using it if you get a chance.

  •  Russian Egg: September - Labor Day 2006   
    This is sixth of my Russian style eggs for the Poser community. The set consists of an squash style egg base with opening egg, moving gears, and other animation items. Also included are a smart proped set of blossoms, and a girder trellice prop. This set was designed with animation in mind, and I tried to melt both industrial and agricultural labor in the theme.

    Total set:

    Egg base with egg that opens and closes with working gears, and smart proped set of blossoms, and a girder trellice prop.

    More of these will come through the year. I'm going to try to do one every month.

    This set is dedicated to my American Labor, both argicultural and industrial. As more of our well paying jobs go offshore, and our middle class continues to shrink and suffer, we should take a moment to reflect on all the advances American labor collectives like the Grange and the union movement have done to improve the lot of common citizens.
